Fertility is the natural capability to produce offspring and depends on factors of nutrition, sexual behavior, consanguinity, culture, instinct, endocrinology, timing, genetics, economics, age, way of life, and emotions. A subfertile woman however, has a less than normal capacity for reproduction that can be due to several factors such as anovulation, pcos, blocked fallopian tubes, uterine fibroids, or even low count/immobility of her partner's sperm.
Such a couple is always in need of consulting a sub-specialist in the area of Reproductive Medicine and Assisted Conception Techniques and doing so will undoubtfully pave the way towards conceiving and delivering a healthy baby.
As a fertility subspecialist I always encourage my patients to consult me regarding all matters of their sexual rapport, because conception is all about time and timing. Moreover, I follow a well devised protocol of using assisted conception methods (timed intercourse , ovulation kits, ovulation triggers...) and techniques( IUI, IVF, ICSI,PGD...) to help patients get pregnant and experience childbirth for it's their motherly right to do so.
